what's funny -- besides the student teacher's responses -- is that my dad called while i was scanning these pages & when i questioned his parenting decision to allow me to watch "carrie" at such a young age, he said it was fine & referred to it as a "kids" movie b/c it was set in high school. gotta love it.

i'm not sure this would fly in 2011
the following is from my 4th grade "happenings" notebook/daily journal. i was claire's age now when i wrote this.
what's funny -- besides the student teacher's responses -- is that my dad called while i was scanning these pages & when i questioned his parenting decision to allow me to watch "carrie" at such a young age, he said it was fine & referred to it as a "kids" movie b/c it was set in high school. gotta love it.
