claire and i are gonna take the F train to coney island in honor of her first official day of summer vacation. we're not bringing a camera, so no photos to come. (what happens in coney island, stays in coney island.)

fourth grade, here comes claire

today was the last day of 3rd grade for claire. it's been a heckuva ride -- in a very good way, for us both. looking forward to the summer now. though dang my procrastinating ways... i still have to fill out her forms -- including the medical one -- for camp.

btw, for all you ps 196'ers... claire's gonna be in 401.

sunday night TV

"true blood" season premiere, done. i think i liked it. i'm still not sure. ever since this fairy nonsense began...

now on to "falling skies." i fell asleep during the end of the last episode, but so far, that doesn't seem to matter.

a whole lotta chucking going on

whatever possessed me to save everything from claire's kindergarten days up has been exorcised from my body. good riddance, clutter. i'm just saving her report cards and a few writing and art samples from each grade.

(whoa-mama, just found claire's stuff from her oyster babies years. gonna go through that now. this should take awhile. hope the family's not expecting dinner this evening...)
