went to my first bon jovi concert this evening w/ my good friend eileen fee-now-lannon and i must admit, had me a dang good time. see, i never would have classified myself as a bon jovi fan, plus we were in the very last row, rear stage, so i did not know what to expect.
the crowd definitely had a mix of all ages (we even saw some kids w/ their parents), but mostly it consisted of obsessive, middle-aged female fans. the way they sang along w/ every song while they waved their arms in unison was rather cult-like -- never experienced that before and i've been to my share of concerts.
and interesting little tidbit of information: it was 27 years ago that "runaway" was released -- same year i met eileen in high school during gym line-up.
(eileen, i love you.)
